Effective date: [DATE — to be set before launch]
The short version: DugBot collects zero personal data. It doesn't connect to the internet. Everything stays on your PC. That's it. That's the policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how DugBot Home ("DugBot," "the Software"), operated by [COMPANY / LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we," "us," "our"), handles your data. We keep it short because there's genuinely not much to say.
DugBot collects no personal data whatsoever.
No names, no email addresses, no IP addresses, no device identifiers, no usage analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports. Nothing.
DugBot does not require or use an internet connection. It does not connect to any external servers, APIs, or cloud services. All diagnostic and repair operations run entirely on your local machine.
DugBot creates diagnostic logs on your computer so you can review what actions were taken. These logs:
None. DugBot does not include any telemetry, analytics, or usage tracking of any kind. We have no idea how often you use it, what features you use, or whether it's even installed. That's by design.
DugBot the software does not use cookies (it's a desktop application — there are no cookies to set). This website (getdugbot.com) may use basic analytics provided by our hosting platform (Vercel). These are standard web analytics and do not track you across other sites.
We share no data with third parties because we have no data to share.
Purchases of DugBot are processed by Lemonsqueezy. When you buy DugBot, Lemonsqueezy handles your payment information (name, email, payment method). We do not see or store your full payment details.
For information about how Lemonsqueezy handles your payment data, see the Lemonsqueezy Privacy Policy.
DugBot does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, this section exists purely for completeness.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page with a new effective date. Given that our policy is "we collect nothing," significant changes are unlikely.
